This week we have enjoyed World Book Day. The children and staff all looked amazing and I was very impressed with the costumes, make-up and props each child wore. It’s such a shame that the parade couldn’t go ahead with the dreadful weather. Photos of the children in their costumes will be put on to the school website soon.

On Tuesday, Oak Class visited Ezone. They had a great day, pond-dipping, shelter building and orienteering. Their team work and perseverance were outstanding and they were super ambassadors for our school.

Next week, Y5/6 are visiting ST Phillip’s Church in Penn to learn more about Lent.
There is a football match after school on Wednesday for our Y5/6 team and we wish them the best of luck.

On Friday next week, we are celebrating red nose day by asking the children to come into school in non-uniform, wearing something red. Can they also bring in cakes please to sell during the day. All profits will go to Comic Relief.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
