Congratulations to our year 6 children, who, this week have sat their Standardised Assessment Tasks (SATs.) All the children have worked extremely hard in the run up to SATS and they should be very proud of their efforts. The papers are sent away to be marked externally and have all been collected. They, and the children’s results will be retuned in July. We are confident that the children will be pleased with their results. Well done also to Mrs Lunn and Mrs Dudgon for all their work helping and supporting the children throughout the year.

Today, Y6 get to enjoy a treat as they are off bowling followed by lunch at Nandos. This afternoon both Y5 and 6 will be auditioning for their parts in this year’s KS2 production ‘Aladd-in Trouble!’ The performances will take place on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd July (afternoon and evening performances on each day.) Please let your child’s class teacher know if you are away this week.

Yesterday we celebrated the forthcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan with a super street party at lunch time. The children all loved eating their party food outside in the sunshine.

Wishing you all a lovely wedding weekend.
