All diocesan schools undergo a Statutory Inspection as part of the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) The inspections are an opportunity for schools to celebrate what they do and share what it means to be part of a church school community and to be a distinctively Christian school.
SIAMS inspections take pace every five years. Our last inspection was in September 2014 and the Inspector made judgments on:
- How well the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of all learners
- The impact of collective worship on the school community
- How effective the leadership and management of the school are
We were delighted to be awarded an ‘outstanding’ judgment. To access the full report, please click on the link below.

Our school vision is to provide a high quality learning environment based on Christian principles; a partnership in which everyone is valued and given the opportunity to achieve and celebrate personal success whilst taking pride in being part of our school family. As a church school our foundations for living and learning are the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. The message of God’s love for all and the Christian values of respect, friendship, love, forgiveness, trust and spirituality are at the heart of all school life.
