Yesterday afternoon, actors from the grand Theatre, Wolverhampton came to school to perform ‘Dick Whittington’ for the children to enjoy. Both they and the staff had a fantastic time and loved every minute of the performance. We laughed from start to finish and it was so lovely to see the children so engaged and enthralled by the production. A huge thank you to the PTFA for organising this amazing experience for us. Staffordshire Wildlife Trust

Next Monday, volunteers from the Wildlife Trust are coming into school to run well-being workshops with all of the children. The programme is called ‘everybody needs a rock’ and introduces children to the five ways to well-being in order to help them use these in their everyday lives. The children will be involved in a variety of mindful activities outdoors as well as finding a special rock that can be used in meditation and mindfulness and learn about ways to recognise when they need some extra help and where to get it.
I am sure the children and their teachers will enjoy this wonderful opportunity. I will let you know about their experiences in next week’s newsletter.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our PTFA AGM on Wednesday, it was lovely to see so many of you there. Our PTFA does an amazing job at raising much needed funds for our school. DIY Weekend

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time on Sunday to help tidy up our outdoor areas. It was lovely to see so many of you there—we achieved so much in a relatively short time. The new shed in early years is fantastic and all the areas look much better for tidying and sorting. I am looking forward to seeing all the daffodils and bluebells in the spring. We will have another DIY Sunday in the spring and hope to see as many of you there again.
