Our Church School Links
All Saints Church
All Saints’ Church is at the heart of our community and as such plays a very important role within our school. Reverend Richard Fisher comes into school regularly to lead worship with the children as well as participating in lessons and other learning opportunities. Our children go to church frequently – to celebrate Christian festivals and events throughout the year as well as to support their learning in class. Every class will visit church over the next term to gain a deep understanding of the importance of church to Christians, our school and the local community.
Once a month, Reverend Richard and Sarah Mullen lead messy church with our children, their parents and grandparents as an after school club. The children and families read Bible stories, have time for reflection and make crafts to take home.
Church also runs Toddler Church once a month for parents with pre-school children to meet with other parents and children and make crafts.

In addition to our close partnership with church, the children also enjoy weekly worship led by the Children’s Ministry who come into school to sing songs, lead prayers and read Bible stories with the children.
Each year, the children vote in new Worship Councillors who meet with Mrs Woodall every week to plan worship; develop reflective areas in and around school and support other children to understand that we all have an important part to play in the life of our school. They wear worship council badges so that all the children, staff and visitors can recognise them. They help others demonstrate daily the Christian values that we are proud of and that demonstrate our distinctively Christian character and ethos through living out our school values and improving the Christian ethos and atmosphere of our school.
