A big thank you to everyone who provided cakes and came along to support our coffee morning to help raise funds for Macmillan. We have managed to raise £298.16 – thank you. A special mention to those of you who came along to help out – we really appreciate all your efforts.
This week we have also held our annual book fair and were delighted with how many of you came along and purchased books. Thank you to those families who bought books and donated to them to school. We will also receive additional books for each of the classes and the library, so thank you once again.
On Monday 1st October, we are holding a maths workshop for parents and families to come along to. School will open the gates at 2.30pm and you can go into your child’s classroom to see the different types of activities we offer the children to help them with their numbers and calculations learning. Please leave the children in their classrooms as they will be participating in the activities whilst you visit the other classrooms. The children will be able to go home once the bell has rung at 3.30 pm (slightly earlier for Acorn and Chestnut Classes,) French Club and Top Hat will go ahead as normal.
Charity group, the ‘All Saints’ All Stars’ will shortly be launching their Christmas campaign with the shoebox appeal. Further information will be sent out over the next couple of weeks.
On Thursday 18th October, Reverend Richard Fisher will be installed in church at 6.30pm. I will hopefully meeting with him following this to arrange our harvest and Christmas services. As soon as I know any dates, I will let you know.
Wishing you all a lovely sunny weekend.
