On Thursday 18th October I shall be attending the licencing and installation of Reverend Richard Fisher, the new vicar at All Saints’ Church. Following this, I will be contacting Revd Richard in order to arrange a harvest service for the children and will let you know as soon as we have a date. There is a harvest thanksgiving all age worship this Sunday at 10am for those of you who wish to attend.

Also on Thursday, we are holding our AGM for the PTFA – everyone is welcome to attend. As you are aware, Mrs Louise Hart is stepping down as Chairperson after four years in the role. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work,                  dedication and commitment to the children of All Saints.’ Our PTFA has been very successful and has helped provide resources for our children to enjoy, the most recent being the wonderful interactive whiteboards in each of the classrooms. The meeting starts at 3.30pm and should last for approximately one hour. We offer free child-care to school-age children and  welcome everyone.

Coalport Visit

Next week, our year 3 children will be going on their first residential trip to Coalport. They will leave school at approximately 11am – waved off by the rest of the school (and parents, for those of you who are able to return.) During their stay they will be enjoying a wide range of activities as well as getting the opportunity to have a sleepover with their friends. I’m sure they will all have a fantastic time and we look forward to hearing about all their adventures on their  return next Friday afternoon.

Good luck to our Y3 and 4 children taking part in the cross country competition at Westfield Primary on Tuesday afternoon. Also to our Y6 teams who are competing in the technology tournament at Woodfield Junior School on Wednesday.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend,

Jane Woodall
