This week our guitar group and choir performed together in front of the rest of the school. They have been practising ‘Can’t stop the feeling’ by Justin Timberlake. Their performance was a great success. Well done.

On Thursday, our year 6 mums were invited into school for Mother’s Day lunch. This is something we do every year for our final year group. We would love to be able to invite other year groups in too, we just don’t have the space. A huge thank you to Mrs Johnston and Mrs French for preparing and cooking a delicious meal. Photos are on the website.

Our discos were both well attended again on Thursday evening. Thank you to our resident DJ Thomas Howes. Our next discos will take place in the summer term.

Thank you to everyone who either bought red noses or donated £1 for Comic Relief today. I’ll let you know the final monies raised next week.

Next week we have our spring term parents’ evenings and we’re looking forward to seeing you and sharing your children’s achievements this term.  We also have a tag rugby competition on Thursday – good luck to the team. On Friday we have a non-uniform day – please bring in a bottle for the Easter fairs. Friday is also Literal Lucy’s lap of London landmarks – our first stage in the reading explorers challenge.

Wishing all the mums a very happy, restful and relaxing Sunday.
