Yesterday the whole school visited a Gurdwara in Wolverhampton as part of their RE topic learning about the Sikh faith. The children were, as usual, impeccably behaved and we received very positive and pleasing comments about them all during the visit. Whilst we were there, the children went into the main hall where worship is held and listened to the history of the temple and the Sikh religion. The children learned that the temple is open 24 hours a day, every day and that everyone of all faiths is welcome to come in and have food and shelter. The children were very kindly given a drink, biscuits and sweets before returning to school.

Next week some of our children in year 3 and 4 are taking part in a Kwik cricket competition at Swindon Cricket Club.

Also next week, is our last booster session for year 6 pupils in preparation for their SATS the following week. They have all worked extremely hard and we are confident that they will all achieve well during the week.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
