We are at the end of another successful year and on behalf of all the staff, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support throughout the year. Thank you for helping your children with their learning and to all of you for contributing so much to our PTFA events and resources in school.

Our children have once again achieved so much and I am very proud of every single one of them. Well done to all the children for their academic, sporting, artistic and musical talents they have shown. I am sure you will continue to flourish as you move to the next stage of your education.

Wishing all our year 6 children and those others who are leaving us the very best of luck in their new schools. We hope you look back at your time at All Saints’ with great fondness and with many happy memories. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are               getting on.

A huge thank you to all the staff  for their commitment and dedication to every child at All Saints.’

At the end of the year, there are always a mixture of emotions – relief that the summer holidays are finally here; joy at the thought of all the achievements throughout the year and sadness because of those who are leaving us to go to pastures new.

This year is no different and is going to be particularly difficult to say goodbye to two members of staff who have been here for a long time

First of all, to Mrs Beard, who is retiring  so she can enjoy her time at home with her family. A huge thank you Mrs Beard for all that you’ve given to the children of All Saints’ over the many years you have been here. Goodness knows how many bowls of cereal and rounds of bread you have had to toast during your time at breakfast club but we are so grateful that you did. Mrs Beard has been making sure the children at school have a good breakfast before they start the day for 12 years now and so we feel she definitely needs to have someone else make the breakfast for her!  Thank you so much for all you have done – please keep in touch and come and visit us any time (even for breakfast.)

We are also saying goodbye to Mrs Lunn who has been at All Saints’ for seven years. As you know, Mrs Lunn is moving on to Christ Church Infants School to be the Head of School and we know that she will do a fantastic job. I would like to say a personal thank you to Mrs Lunn for all her help and support and her dedication to the children of our school. It has been a pleasure to see you develop in to the  inspirational leader you are today and I wish you all the very best as you move onwards and upwards.

Summer Fair

Our summer fair was another amazing success and we raised over £800. Thank you to everyone who came along to help set up, run stalls and clear away and to all of you who came along and supported. The PTFA do an amazing job at helping fund resources for our children. But we can’t hold these events without your valued support, so thank you again.

Leavers’ Service

Our leavers’ service will be held this afternoon in church and starts at 2 pm. If you can help walk the children to the church, we would be very grateful. We would also appreciate it if you can possibly park on the school carpark or village hall rather than outside church as it does create difficulties for other traffic.

And finally… Wishing you all a wonderful summer   holiday. Thank you for your support throughout the year. For those of you who are returning, see you on Tuesday 3rd September.

Happy holidays.
