Today, the children have come to school in non-uniform and wearing something red to help raise funds for Comic Relief. Thank you to everyone who has donated cakes today for charity group to sell and for everyone who brought in money to purchase cakes and red noses. I will let you know how much has been raised next week.
This week our year 5 and 6 visited St Phillip’s Church in Penn to participate in interactive activities learning about Lent and Easter.
On Wednesday our football team played a match against Blakeley Heath. They all played fantastically well and thoroughly deserved their 5-0 win. Thank you to Mr Cleaver for all his efforts training and supporting the team. Their next match is on Thursday next week against Westfield.

Next Tuesday, the children in Chestnut and Beech class are going out for the day to Wild Zoological Park. We know they will all have a fantastic day and we hope the weather stays dry for them.
Elm Class will also be visiting Wild later on this term. Trips for Acorn and Oak classes are being planned and we’ll let you have more details soon.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
