Today some of the children, with help from the PTFA have been preparing their Christingles ready for the church service on Sunday at 10 o’clock. The service is open to families and is a  really special occasion. We would love to see as many of you there as  possible.

We are now fully in the swing of getting ready for Christmas. The dress rehearsals for the different performances have gone well this week and the children are looking forward to showing you their nativities and pantos next week. Please note: the carpark gates will be open 10 minutes before each show.

Also next week, the children will be enjoying a Christmas lunch on Thursday followed by film night after school. (Nursery children will not be permitted to attend the film night, sorry.)

On Friday we are taking part in the annual Save the Children Christmas jumper day and are asking parents to donate to this very worthwhile cause through Parent Pay please.

During the afternoon, parents of children in nursery and reception will be invited into school to take part in the shoebox  nativity activity starting at 2pm. All you need to bring along is a shoebox – we will provide the rest of the materials in order for you to make a super nativity scene with your child in the hall.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend and hoping to see you on Sunday at the Christingle Service.
