This week, Beech Class (Years 1 and 2) visited Ezone as part of their science topic. They spent the whole day outdoors and had a wonderful time learning about local habitats and the natural  environment. Please visit Beech Class page to see more photographs of the visit. There are also lots of other photographs of our different classes and the activities they have been doing over the past week, including our nursery class who enjoyed going on a listening walk around school.

Next week is our annual book fair. The children will get the opportunity to have a look at the books during the day before parents and families can come and buy the books after school. Nursery, reception and Years 1 and 2 fair is on Tuesday 25th and Years 3 – 6 is on Wednesday 26th. Both fairs start at 3.15 and will be located in the school hall.

Also on Wednesday, we have a SATS parents’ meeting for those of you who have children in year 6. The meeting will only last 20 minutes and we’ll share important information and any resources to help your child at home. If you can’t make the meeting, I’m happy to send the information packs home to you instead,

On Friday next week, we are helping raise funds for Macmillan by holding our own coffee morning. We would be very grateful for donations of cakes and would love to see you in the hall at 9am for coffee and cake.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
