Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to our school. All Saints’ is a happy, successful and thriving school. We are very proud of all our children’s achievements and their caring attitudes and behaviour. The respect and kindness they demonstrate daily to each other and everyone around them is wonderful to see. Our motto is ‘caring and achieving’ and this is evident as soon as you walk through the door. Our school vision is to become a lead teaching and learning school, providing an outstanding, inclusive education whilst retaining our caring Christian family ethos.

Caring and Achieving

Support

We believe that a child’s school life should be supported by teachers and parents working together to promote an understanding for children of a caring community. We know that children learn best when they trust their teachers and helpers, when they understand the boundaries set on their behaviour, when they are motivated by an inner drive to learn and when they are supported by praise and encouragement.

R

Success

We wish to promote successful progress through the National Curriculum by being creative, inclusive, grounded in Christian faith and at the same time prepare children for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.

Safety

At All Saints’ we aim to prepare our pupils to become good citizens of the future. Through our curriculum we teach pupils British values and how to celebrate diversity. We aim to raise their awareness of radicalisation and extremist views, whatever the sources. We have adopted the principles and advice found in ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education 2016’ and the 2015 ‘Prevent Strategy.’ These are incorporated into our school policy on tackling extremism.
